We strategically support works that challenge aesthetic boundaries, engage complex social narratives, and generate transformative cultural discourse. Our commissioned projects emerge from a collaborative dialogue, where institutional support and artistic vision converge to produce rich and radical cultural experiences.

Behind each commission is an extensive support system offering financial support, conceptual mentorship, production and publicity resources. A Per°Form Commission is a critical intervention, amplifying marginalised artistic voices and expanding the potential of contemporary performances.

Art Labor — Cloud Chamber: Central Highlands Journey

"Cloud Chamber", the first institutional exhibition to survey the activities of Art Labor by Para Site from Aug 17, 2024 – Nov 24, 2024 showcased the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam’s Central Highlands through the work of Jrai artists, Art Labor collective and contemporary artists inspired by the region. The project, first activated during the Cloud Chamber: Central Highlands Journey in July 2024, included remarkable wood-carved sculptures by Jrai artists, musical instruments created by Jrai musician R Cham Tih. These public gatherings, outdoor installations, and live performances vividly captured the essence of the Central Highlands.

Srijanalaya — Mural Art Residency: Learning from Khokana

The Mural Art Residency in Khokana seeks to bridge the past and the present, tradition and modernity, through the transformative power of art. By exploring the question, “What can we learn from a place, and what can a place teach us?” this residency encourages participants to engage deeply with the town’s heritage, creating meaningful dialogue between the local community and the participants. Through this project, Khokana’s stories will be documented as an inspiration for future generations to foster more inquiries and a deeper connection to the places they inhabit and the knowledge these places hold.
